Overview

There are a number of settings to configure your integration to meet your user’s needs. To do this, browse to Integrations and click Settings next to the integration you wish to configure.

Basic configuration

  • Integration Name the internal name for identifying this integration. This is not shown to users.
  • Widget Style is the type of widget you are using (dialog or chatbox). You can change between widget types.
  • Widget Title appears in the header of the widget when the user clicks on it.

Welcome message

This sets an optional message that appears when users first open the widget

Response Length

Controls how verbose the AI responses are. Smaller responses are faster.
  • Small (Concise, 1-3 sentences)
  • Medium (Balanced, 3-5 sentences)
  • Large (Detailed, comprehensive)

Allowed Domains

This is a comma-separated list of domains where the widget is allowed to run. Use *.domain.com for wildcard subdomains. Leave empty to allow all domains. By default we allow access to all domains. We recommend you set this to only the domains you will embed the widget on to prevent abuse. Examples:
  • docs.site.com - Exact domain only
  • *.site.com - All subdomains (e.g., docs.site.com, app.site.com)
  • example.com, *.docs.com - Multiple domains
We strongly recommend you do not leave this field blank.

Negative Feedback Redirect

Users have the ability to rate each answer as Positive (👍) or Negative (👎). You can use the Negative Feedback Redirect to show a custom button when users give negative feedback. This is useful if you wish to direct users to a contact page or support form when they rate an answer as negative. You can set custom text and a URL (including mailto: links).
